He Is The Father

Poetry-Isn't-Justice

I never talk about my accomplishments to hear congratulations.

I only talk about them, so I can be an inspiration.

I used to believe that I never could achieve.

Until one day I got on my knees and I asked God Could he show me the way please?

He told me faith without works is dead see a closed mouth will never get fed.

So, I worked, and I prayed

Even when folks tried to rain on my parade.

Eventually I was able to stop faking it until I made it,

I was tired of that charade.

When I accomplish it’s a story behind my glory?

My father who sits high and looks low I once denied

but my life is a reflection that he’s mines no need for MAURY!
