VIS-ability is about recognizing the value that both adolescents and adults with disabilities bring to society. They are human; God’s creation, they have feelings just like other human beings. They have families and they bring value to society that may not be understood and cannot be equivocated by those without disabilities.
Disabilities can be visible or non-visible. Disabilities may be academic, behavioral, developmental, emotional, and/or physical. This is a strength-based resiliency-model platform that advocates for people with disabilities as being Valued In Society.
