Harlem Renaissance The Art Of Entertainment
While studying for a career in education at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, D. White, Founding Editor of PEACE Readers INTL developed a Social Studies unit on African American history. During his research he discovered the Harlem Renaissance, which was an equitable emergence of diverse talent in the entertainment industry during the 1920’s.
It was during this time that pioneers as entertainers & entertainers as pioneers, who would influence the liberal arts for generations to come, began to evolve. Now literally a century later, PEACE Readers INTL would like to enthusiastically introduce Harlem Renaissance: The Art of Entertainment, a column that serves to feature current talented entertainers as they evolve.
